Purpose: Exploring professional organizations
Substance: A summary of professional organizations in my area of interest
Analysis/ integration: Researching professional educational organizations
4) Final Journal Reflection EDUC 805
Purpose: Reflection on assignments and speakers during the semester of EDUC 805
Substance: Summary and synthesis of speakers and assignments
Analysis/ integration: Synthesis of a variety of speaker’s ideas, and independent readings from the semester.
5) EDRS 810 Literature Review
Purpose: Write a literature review for a potential research project
Substance: A summary of professional organizations in my area of interest
Analysis/ integration: Finding and integrating research to articulate a novel problem/ novel research problem
6) EDRS 797 Mixed Methods Module 1
Purpose: Suggest a mixed-methods research study
Substance: Explanation of a problem in the area of video games and education, suggestion of a few

7) EDRS 797 Mixed Methods Module 2
Purpose: Conceptual map and memo of for conceptual framework of a research problem
Substance: Concept map and research memo

Purpose: Identify potential validity threats and propose how they will be addressed in a research study

Purpose: Investigate pragmatism, realism, and social theories on embodied cognition
Substance: Annotated bibliography and synthesis of readings
