Purpose: Qualitative analysis of structured research investigating teacher learning and beliefs

11) 811 Quantitative Analysis Paper
Purpose: Analyze data and using APA format, present original research using 1 and 2 way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis
Substance: Original research paper with a focus on quantitative analysis
Analysis/ integration: Conducting quantitative analysis, presenting it using the standard professional conventions, discussing key quantitative  issues such as sample size, statistical significance, homogeneity of variance,and effect sizes

Purpose: Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate the design of several surveys in accordance with current literature on established best practices of survey design.

Purpose: Analyze data and using APA format, present original research using linear regression, multiple regression, 2-3 way ANOVA, and MANOVA

14) Scholarly Book Review: Fertilizers, Pills, and Magnetic Strips by G.V. Glass
Purpose: Write a scholarly book review from the perspective of theories in educational leadership
Substance: Analysis and critique of a scholarly book
Analysis/ integration: Integrating my own content knowledge (regarding educational technology) with what I’ve learned about educational leadership and educational methods to provide an analysis and recommendation of the usefulness and rigor of a scholarly book

16)Leadership case analysis
Purpose: Analyze the leadership style of a selected leader from my area of expertise (instructional technology) and present a leadership case together with a small group of classmates
Substance: Develop a case analysis based on a pre-existing model drawn from leadership studies
Analysis/ Integration: This paper required me and my two colleagues to bring in our own expertise and understanding from the field of instructional technology to argue the case of how someone “transformed” the field. Our expertise was blended with our emerging understanding of the leadership corpus of research to make this case
